Lawn Doctor of Wilmington has been taking care of our lawn for over one full season. Our yard was nothing but weeds when we started. They suppressed the growth of the weeds and have nurtured the grass to regain it’s footing on our lawn. Mike O’Sullivan has given professional service and personal attention to our project. We signed up for a yearly service package. Mike always texts me to let me know when he will be at our house to perform service. He even checks up on our lawn with a drive by inspection when he is in our area. Always very efficient and professional but never too busy for a few questions and answers to keep us on track. We are 100% satisfied with Lawn Doctor and Mike and will continue to contract their services. I’d recommend them to anyone that wants to maintain a healthy lawn. ~ Steve H

We’ve been using Lawn Doctor for about a year now. Our grass has honestly never looked better. Dustin, the manager, came out last year to help us make a plan. I was shocked that a simple phone call was greeted with such nice customer service. Dustin recently came out to our property last week to see the progress. I can only speak good things about the Lawn Doctor here in Wilmington, not other locations. We have been using them for weed control and pest control for years now. This Spring we were invaded by a pesky mole who did a ton of destruction quickly on our back lawn. Lawn Doctor came right out and treated the grub worms and our mole relocated - thankfully. Also have never had to worry about mosquitos hanging out in our backyard and especially with my 2 year old Granddaughter. We are really happy with their response and service. ~ Clara D

I've contracted with Lawn Dr of Wilmington for four years now. I made the mistake one year of utilizing another national lawn care company which made me come back to them three years ago. My lawn looks great which is the most important factor. A very close second factor is that I can reach Mike McCarter easily and usually on the first call. Lawn Dr of Wilmington may not be the lest expensive service you can contract but you will get the best results and best service. ~ frank F

Lawn Doctor was timely and cost effective in reestablishing and maintaining our lawn and we continued to use them ever since. In our area fire ant, mole crickets and other pests are a real problem or were. Weeds can also get quickly out of control. Lawn Dr. takes care of both problems BEFORE they become problems. They also have a great system - pay in advance and get a substantial discount and you don’t have to worry about paying for each visit and wondering if you paid or not. I’ve been with The Lawn Doctor for 22 yers, 17 in Maryland and five in North Carolina. The two states are as similar as apples and prunes. Maryland had good soil while NC has more than it share of sand. Lawn Doctor techs have been with me all the way with tips, corrected application for each growing condition and willing to discuss my lawn problems and a new gang of different weeds. These guys are amazing! We have a large property and sometimes areas are done too lightly or missed and sometimes simply not effective (at no fault to them).
